UK-based Bella Figura Music has acquired the publishing catalog of producer and songwriter Paul Epworth, in a deal announced on April 22, 2026. The acquisition also covers his producer income. Financial terms were not disclosed.
What changes hands
Bella Figura is buying Epworth's publishing rights together with his producer royalties, which makes this a two-sided creator deal: income from the songs he co-wrote plus income from the records he produced. The announcement refers to some of his co-writes and productions rather than claiming his entire body of work. Sony Music Publishing continues to administer the catalog globally, alongside Bella Figura.
The catalog
Epworth's work has contributed to more than 100 million records sold. He has won seven Grammys, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and an Ivor Novello, plus three BRIT Awards for British Producer of the Year.

Why it matters
Bella Figura was founded in 2022 by former BMG UK president Alexi Cory-Smith and says it now owns or manages more than $200 million in music rights. It has been acquiring at a steady pace: the publishing catalog of Jonny Pierce in February 2026, a significant part of the Jeepster Recordings catalog in January 2026 and the RAK Music Publishing repertoire in April 2024. The company plans to open a Los Angeles office in 2026 and keep buying.
For producer-songwriters, the deal shows that combining publishing with producer royalties in a single package can create a more complete asset for a buyer. It also shows that a sale does not have to disrupt existing administration: keeping Sony Music Publishing in place gave continuity to a catalog with major global hits and award-winning sync history.
